Terms of use

Last updated: 30 October 2026.

By using PayCalculus you agree to these terms. They are short because the service is simple.

1. What PayCalculus is

PayCalculus provides free online tools that make business documents and run calculations in your browser, together with explanatory guides. The tools and the content are offered for general information and convenience.

2. Not advice

Nothing on PayCalculus is financial, tax, legal, accounting or investment advice. The calculators apply standard formulas to the figures you enter, and each result depends on those figures and on the assumptions stated on its page. Before taking a loan, setting a price, paying tax or making any other financial decision, check the figures with the lender, your tax authority or a qualified professional.

3. No warranty

The tools are tested against the worked examples shown on their pages. Even so, they are provided "as is", without any promise that a result, a document, a rate or an exchange rate is accurate, complete or current. Tax rates and exchange rates change. You are responsible for checking that the inputs and the results are right for your situation.

4. Your documents

You own the documents you make with PayCalculus, and you may use them freely. You are also responsible for their content, including whether they meet the legal requirements of your country and whether the figures on them are true. You must not use the tools to create false or misleading documents, such as fake payslips or receipts made for fraud.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the tools for your own business or personal purposes. You may not copy the site's code or content to republish it, scrape the site, try to interfere with how it runs, or use it in any way that breaks the law.

6. Our content

The text, design and code of PayCalculus belong to its owner or to the licensors named on the open source licenses page. You may link to any page on the site.

The site may show advertisements and may link to third party websites, including through affiliate links. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of those third parties. A link or an ad is not an endorsement.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the site available, but uninterrupted service is not promised. Any tool may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

9. Limits of our liability

In plain terms: you use the site at your own risk. As far as the law allows, PayCalculus and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, or from relying on a result, a document or any content on it. That includes lost profit, lost data, and any indirect or knock on loss. Some liability cannot be excluded by law, and nothing in these terms tries to exclude it.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Contact
