Free business document generators

This page lists every document tool on PayCalculus. Each one is a form with a live preview: fill in your details and line items, pick a currency, then download a PDF or print it. The work happens inside this browser tab and your figures stay on your device.

Which document do you need

The five documents follow the life of a sale. A quote agrees the price, a purchase order places the order, an invoice asks for payment, and a receipt confirms the money arrived. A payslip sits apart, between an employer and an employee.

Quote or estimate. Use the quote and estimate maker before any work starts. It sets out the price, how long the offer stays open and any deposit due on acceptance. It does not ask for payment, and an accepted quote can be turned into an invoice in one step.

Purchase order. A buyer sends a purchase order to a supplier to place an order, with item codes, quantities, prices and a ship to address. When the supplier's invoice arrives, it can be matched line by line against the order.

Invoice. The invoice generator is for after the work is done or the goods have gone out. An invoice states what is owed, by which date and how to pay, and a copy of it is the usual business record of each sale.

Receipt. A receipt confirms that a payment has been received. It records the amount paid, the method and the date, writes the amount in words, and suits cash sales, rent and deposits where no invoice was sent.

Payslip. An employer gives a payslip to an employee for each pay period. It lists gross pay, each deduction and net pay. The tool lays out figures from your payroll and does not work out income tax.

Drafts save in this browser only. Clearing the browser's site data removes them, so download the PDF when the document is done.
